International Honor Socieities

Wikipedia says it best... In the United States, an honor society is a rank organization, the induction into which recognizes excellence among one's peers. The term refers to scholastic honor societies are those which recognize students who excel academically within a specific academic discipline.
It came as a complete surprise to me when I was inducted into the National Honor Society for Psychology. I knew my grades (4.0 GPA) were tops in my major, psychology, and the grade reports on mid-terms and final examinations were also at the top of my classes, but, the induction into Psi Chi came as a complete surprise. I had not even heard of Psi Chi and had no idea that such an honor society even existed.
Strive to be the best in your major, what ever it may be. One day in the future you too may be in for a pleasant surprise.

Many people do not know when their Civil Rights have been violated.

And, investigators siding with the defendant are certainly not going to provide any information. The law libraries of universities around the world contain vast amounts of books on civil rights issues, law, and violations. Perhaps these are a few of the types of breeches of law contained in those libraries. These would be intentional errors on the part of investigators:
  • Do not contact the person responsible for the violation. Contact his or her attorney only.
  • Do not apply the correct lawful violation to the complaint.
  • Complain about the complainant's paperwork preparation of evidence
  • Complain that the complainant waiting too long to file a complaint
  • Omit evidence in the complaint summary
  • Fight like hell to avoid being served with a subpoena
  • If served with a subpoena, then have the office say you are on holiday and cannot attend trial
  • Primary physicians refuse to appear in court via subpoena
  • Squash evidence
  • Damn the complainant any way and every way possible
  • Avoid answering letters requesting information about the laws applicable to your case
  • Control preparation for the interview: Instruct the complainant to not bring any documents to the interview
  • During the interview, when the complainant asks questions, squash the questions by changing the topic, to anything, for example, How many languages do you speak, what countries have you visited, how long did you remain in each country. Do not allow the complainant to ask any questions.
  • Selective interviewing: Interview ONLY those people that will work together in the demise of the complainant
  • Do not interview key witnesses that would support the complainant's allegations
  • Do not advise the complaintant of any rights he or she may have prior to the interview
  • Do not offer to provide typed text of any interview by either witnesses, those called as defendants or the complainant
  • Lie!
I am not an attorney so perhaps some or all of the above do not even fall within the realm of civil rights violations. That's part of the problem. People don't know if they have been violated.

Greenhouse Educational Tools and Reources for Children...

Many kids live in apartments or condominiums and do not have a chance to feel the wonder of growing their own flowers, fruits and vegetalbles until they are long graduated out of college or university and have homes of their own.  A small green house at school can provide a solution for these students, some of which may have a green thumb.
Watching fruti and vegetable grow to maturity is a wonderful way to learn about growth cycles and edible foods.  Growing these also teaching about proper soil Ph and watering.  Vegetables that are raising by the kids at the school greenhouse could have a cooking contest once every several months inwhich parents and community members would have the opportunity to purchase the food cooked by the kids.  The Greenhouse could become a real money maker for the school in a number of helpful and useful ways, especially involving underprivileged children whose diets less than perfect.

Probably the biggest money maker and the best project to help save the environment is the school recycling center. More schools are beginning to recycle their paper, plastic, aluminum, glass, electronic waste, printer cartridges, oil and other contaminants. Steps in setting up a school recycling program:
  • Hold a meeting with students and parents, make a decision
  • Obtain recycling barrels
  • Put notices around the school and in the classrooms letting all know where to recycle their waste refuse
  • Contact plastic, paper, cardboard, electronic waste, and glass recyclers to find out how much they will pay for your recycled refuse
  • Have the students bring bags of materials to be recycled to the school recycling center so the school can earn more money
